Background

The increasing complexity of global steel trade, coupled with unfair trade practices, circumvention activities, and non-compliant imports, continues to place pressure on domestic steel producers. Strengthening trade governance and enforcement is essential to maintaining a fair and competitive marketplace. This programme is therefore established to enhance trade remedy mechanisms, improve supply chain transparency, and support industry compliance with evolving market and regulatory requirements.
