SIR 2035

The Steel Industry Roadmap 2025-2035 serves as the strategic policy providing direction for industry growth, sustainability and long-term competitiveness for the iron and steel industry in Malaysia. The roadmap outlines a 10-year trajectory through 2035, with a long-term vision of achieving an economically and environmentally sustainable industry by 2050.

The Steel Industry Roadmap 2025-2035 was officially launched on the 29th September 2025, incorporating recommendations from the Independent Steel Committee (ISC) Report.
